Just Outstanding

There is a trail named Just Outstanding that runs from Greenhorn Mountain (~6600ft.) down to Hwy 155 (~2500ft). Me and Monica rode it many years ago- but not all the way to the bottom. I decided that the boys are now old enough to go and complete this ride and see the rest of the trail. This is a well known trail in the mountain biking community, and we (me & the boys) wanted to if the trail lived up to its name. So, we drove up to Green horn mountain, had lunch at the rangers station and Monica said goodbye to us for a few hours.

Let the fun begin!

This is a sneaky rock section where we all almost met doom

So fast it's blurry

Where's Ezra?

Almost done and still smilin

This guy wasn't happy to see us- although he thought he was bigger than he really was.

We all agreed that the trail does live up to its name- Just Outstanding. 15 plus miles of fun with ~4000 feet of elevation drop. Two biffs- Jacob going down hurting his wrist and Ezra meeting the top tube of his bike. Best of all- the boys keep reminiscing and want to do it again- no problem, we sure will!
